Dumont Deadwood
Ride this beautiful section of trail and the payoff is approximately
13 miles of leisure, following a short climb to the highest section
of the trail along Rochford Ridge.

Dumont Rochford/Mystic
Riding from Dumont to Rochford, is 10 miles of scenic Northern Hills
with several interpretive sites along the way; find the camp where Custer
stayed on his trip to the Hills in 1874, and see how settlers sided and
roofed their houses. You will also pass the northern most tunnel on the
trail, just north of Rochford. Stop for a bite to eat or a cold drink
in the town of Rochford at the Moonshine Gulch, or S'mall of America.
Continuing on to Mystic will take you through another tunnel and 'Big
Tom' the largest trestle on the trail, one mile north of Mystic.
