The ride out to Sundance is along I-90 and relatively flat with rollers. Coming back into South Dakota introduces some of the larger ones on the route. Don't mention the wind, especially if it is with you, for the Wind God of Cycling can wreak havoc on this ride.

From I-90 exit south at exit #10 (Belle Fourche, HWY 85) and turn immediately onto the frontage road Old Hwy 14 and approximately 1/2 from the turn there is a Mexican restaurant, Guadalajaras. You can park adjacent to the restaurant and Valley Corner the small convenience store.
